Shannon has been photographing the world around her ever since she received her first point-and-shoot camera as a child. She later decided to take her love for photography further by pursuing formal education in photography at Ryerson University.  

Shannon utilizes a photojournalistic approach to capture genuine emotions and authentic moments on your wedding day.

FAQ

What is your photography style?

We believe that a photographer's duty is to tell the story of your wedding day exactly as it unfolds. This is why we utilize a documentary style, or "fly-on-the-wall" approach to capturing the majority of your wedding day. We make a great effort to capture genuine moments of laughter and tears, so you can really remember the love that surrounded you on your wedding day when you look back on these photos for years to come.
During the wedding portraits part of the day, we tend towards more of an editorial, emotional style. We help you with posing by utilizing a mix of poses and prompts to ensure natural looking and candid portraits of you and your new spouse.

How do we get our photos?

6 to 8 weeks after your wedding, we get together, pop some bubbly, and have an in-person reveal celebration! This is when you will get to see all of the photos from your wedding day, as well as go over the layout for your wedding album.
We will go over the print options for wall art to thank you cards, and you will receive the link to your online gallery.
*You do not have to order print products during this meeting. They will be available to order directly through your gallery as well.

Who are your second shooters?

Every second shooter we take on is established as a wedding photographer in their own right. We have worked with them all before, and would trust them to capture our own wedding day.

What if we want more time day-of?

If you decide you want more coverage during your wedding day, we are always happy to stay! The payment for additional hours is due 7 days after the wedding. No photographic products will be returned to you until the final payment has been made.

Where are you based and do you travel?

We are based in Toronto Ontario, and we photograph weddings across Canada and beyond!
For weddings in Southern Ontario, all packages include up to one hour of travel from Toronto. Additional travel is billed at a standard hourly rate.
For weddings outside of Southern Ontario, Travel costs will be determined based on flight and hotel prices at the time of booking.

How do you protect our wedding photos?

We know the thought of losing your wedding photos is terrifying. This is why we take every precaution to all but eliminate the risk of this happening to you. We have multiple levels of back-ups in place, starting with always photogaphing your day on a dual card-slot camera, to having multiple camera bodies and lenses in case one of them stops working, to backing up your photos the second we leave your wedding to multiple locations.

How many photos will we receive?

We want to ensure that you get every good photo from your wedding day so that no moment is missed. This is why there is never a cap on the number of photos you receive. The average number of photos is around 30-50 per hour of coverage with one photographer, and about 50-70 per hour of coverage with two photographers.
*Extremely unflattering photos, and photos with any technical difficulties are removed during the culling process to ensure you remember your day exactly as you felt it in the moment.
